Ready to learn the foundation of stained glass? In this hands-on cutting basics workshop, you’ll learn the core techniques used in every stained glass project. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence using stained glass tools before diving into a full project. You’ll get guided practice with: Scoring and cutting glass Breaking techniques for clean edges Using a grinder to shape and smooth pieces Understanding tools and materials used in stained glass Throughout the class, you’ll practice cutting a variety of shapes and if you’d like, you can use your time to cut pieces for a future stained glass project. Bonus Opportunity: If you choose to cut your own project pieces during this class, you can bring your glass back and use it in one of our upcoming stained glass workshops. When you do, you’ll receive a discount on the class and this is an option for our beginner or intermediate stained glass classes. No experience needed. Just come ready to learn and create! Due to the hands-on nature of this class, space is limited to 10 participants to ensure plenty of individual guidance and support. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy If we are required to cancel a class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or a family emergency, all registered participants will receive a full refund. If a class must be canceled due to weather-related circumstances, we will offer a rescheduled date. Because weather is beyond our control, refunds will not be issued for weather-related cancellations. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, a class credit will be issued and may be used toward a future class. If a participant registers for a class and later finds they are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible to let us know. This helps us plan accordingly and offer spots to other families when possible.
