Service Description

Join us for a Neurodivergent Parenting Support Group. We will meet on one Saturday a month from 10-11 am. This is a free event, but please register so we can ensure there will be enough people joining to make the event successful. A low-pressure, judgment-free space created specifically for parents raising neurodivergent children. Parenting neurodivergent kids can be exhausting, overwhelming, defeating, and isolating. This group is here to offer connection, understanding, and real support from other parents who truly “get it.” Each session will focus on a relevant parenting topic such as burnout, emotional regulation, school challenges, executive functioning, sensory needs, and more, while still allowing space for open conversation and shared experiences. There are no lectures, no pressure to share, and no expectations. Just a supportive group where you can show up exactly as you are. This is a parent-only group designed to be a calm, welcoming environment where you can: • Connect with other parents of neurodivergent kids • Share challenges and wins (or simply listen) • Feel less alone in your parenting journey • Gain practical support, ideas, and resources Our first session will focus on parent burnout and mental load. We will talk honestly about the invisible weight many parents carry and leave feeling seen, supported, and a little lighter. Details: Parent-only (no children present) Free to attend | Donations appreciated Whether you are navigating ADHD, autism, sensory differences, learning differences, or other neurodivergent needs, you are welcome here. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival.
