Service Description
Ready to learn a new skill? Join us for this fun, hands-on 4-week crochet series designed especially for beginners! Students will learn the foundational skills of crochet in a relaxed, encouraging environment while creating projects they'll be proud to take home. Throughout the series, participants will learn: Crochet tools, materials, yarn weights, and hook sizes How to create a slip knot and foundation chain Single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet stitches How to maintain proper tension Reading simple crochet patterns Beginning a granny square Weaving in ends and completing a beginner crochet project This class is designed as a progressive series, with each week building on the skills learned in the previous class. Weekly attendance is required to ensure participants stay on track and get the most from the program. Recommended Age: 9+ Age 9 is our recommended starting age based on the hand coordination, focus, and patience that crochet typically requires. However, this is only a guideline. Younger participants who enjoy detailed handwork, can follow multi-step instructions, and are ready for a two-hour class are welcome to enroll at their parent or guardian's discretion. Class Details Fridays, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM September 11–October 2 $100 for the 4-week series Beginner friendly, no experience necessary All materials included. Class size is limited to provide individualized instruction. Come learn a skill you'll enjoy for years to come while creating, building confidence, and connecting with other homeschool families! Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy If we are required to cancel a class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or a family emergency, all registered participants will receive a full refund. If a class must be canceled due to weather-related circumstances, we will offer a rescheduled date. Because weather is beyond our control, refunds will not be issued for weather-related cancellations. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, a class credit will be issued and may be used toward a future class. If a participant registers for a class and later finds they are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible to let us know. This helps us plan accordingly and offer spots to other families when possible.
