Service Description

Explore the world of music while learning fun songs on the Ukulele. After learning the basics of how to strum and hold a Ukulele, students will learn songs such as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” "Hey Soul Sister"; and many more. Students should bring a folder to hold handouts. For this camp, a Ukulele Kit will be supplied for each participant. Students will learn how to build their own Ukulele and get to paint, stain or personalize it however they would like. After the Ukuleles are assembled and finished, students will learn how to play them. Instructor: Jon Armstrong, an experienced teacher with a B.A. in music education Advanced registration is required. Space is limited. This camp must have 5 registrants to take place. If the camp minimum isn't met, the camp will be canceled and registrants will receive a full refund. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival and we will be sure to exclude you from any photos taken during the event.
