Is anyone else addicted to plants?! In our house, all plants need to hang due to kids and animals. I'm sure plenty of people can relate. Macrame plant hangers are a great option for those that love plants, but need them up and out of the way. They are also a beautiful home decor piece and can be made in a wide variety of colors to match home decor. Each participant will choose the color that they would like at checkout. Reference the image in this listing to choose the color and enter your color choice at checkout. Participants will get their own roll of cording in the color they choose. In this class, participants will learn how to make a plant hanger from start to finish, including making the gathering knot/wrapping knot to start the hanger, and every step in between. Participants will learn a variety of knots including the larks head knot, square knot, spiral knot, and more. Everyone will do the same size hanger, but once knots are learned, participants will have the option to personalize their hanger along the way. Participants will leave with a finished plant hanger, the remaining cord from the cord roll chosen, and the skills to make more plant hangers in the future. Macrame wall hangings and other macrame decor pieces use the same knots learned in this class, so skills obtained can also be used to make other macrame pieces, as well. A minimum of 5 must register for this class to take place. If the class minimum isn't met, class will be canceled and registrants will receive full refund. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival and we will be sure to exclude you from any photos taken during the event.
