Hand-building Clay Class Starts 1/9/24

Service Description

This class is a 6-week series that will run from 1/9- 2/13 on Tuesdays from 12-2:30 pm. Pinch, Coil, Slab? Get your hands dirty with clay from the earth while learning these techniques to create something wonderful! Participants will create 2 pottery pieces out of earthenware clay that will be fired, glazed, and fired again. Surprise yourself with what you can make!!! (Some of the projects will have to be picked up in one to two weeks due to the firing schedule) Participants are encourage to wear old clothes or clothes they don't care about and pack a snack and drink, if desired. Advanced registration is required. A minimum of 5 people must register for this camp to take place. If the camp minimum isn't met, this camp will be canceled and registrants will receive a full refund. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival and we will be sure to exclude you from any photos taken during the event.
