An Exploration into Drawing and Painting

Service Description

This series provides an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals of drawing and painting in an open studio setting. The first three weeks covers vision, lines, shapes, colors, design with gestural and contour drawing. The following weeks covers acrylic painting, brush techniques, blending, color mixing, painting process while painting portraits and still lives. By the time this series is completed participants will walk away with expanded awareness on how to draw and paint what they see. This is a 6 week class series and will run on Fridays from 6-9 pm from September 29th thru November 3rd. Class is $260 per person. This class series is a beginner friendly class and suitable for age 11+. Advanced registration is required. Liability Waiver: I am voluntarily enrolling in this class offering and by doing so, I hereby release Nakama Studio and any and all of it's representatives, management and employees from all liability, claims, damages, costs or expenses incurred or in anyway connected with my participation in this class. I understand that the waiver includes, but is not limited to, all injuries to me and or loss or injuries to any personal property. I also understand that this waiver includes, but is not limited to, any claims that are based on my alleged negligence or any other action or inaction of any of the above parties. Photo Release: All photos taken at our studio, will be used only for advertising purposes to showcase what our studio offers. If you are not comfortable with a photo being taken of yourself or your children for this purpose, then please inform Nakama Studio upon arrival and we will be sure to exclude you from any photos taken during the event.
